On Saturday, November 4 we welcomed the community to the Juried Art Opening Reception held in the Grace Centre Gallery. Cash prizes & multiple awards were presented by our 2017 Juror, Bill Byers of Brevard College. Thank you to all who attended and supported all of the artists!

Submissions are $10 per work sample, max of 2 pieces submitted. All fees will be donated to charity.

Prospectus
Grace Centre welcomes all entries for the 15th Annual Juried Art Exhibit in the Grace Centre Art Gallery.
The show will hang from November 1st– January 8th 2018 in the Grace Centre Gallery, located at 495 Cardinal Road Mills River, North Carolina. Our gallery is located in a multi-use building that also houses a church and an auditorium.
The deadline for application is no later than 9:00 PM on October 18th, 2017.
APPLICATION TERMS
Application terms are detailed below:
Applicants may apply to this call one time only. Applicants may submit up to 2 pieces. 4 work sample files are allowed (1 for each piece submitted and 2 extra if you wish to include a detail or alternate view).
Fees are charged per work sample that is submitted. So if you submit one piece, your cost is $10. If you submit two pieces, then your cost is $20. All submission fees will be donated to ABCCM's Transformation Village to serve Asheville's homeless population. Visit www.abccm.org/transformation-village/ to learn more.
Artwork must be original and created within the last 5 years in any media.
Both 2D and 3D work is welcomed. The size limit for 2D is 60”x72”. The size limit for 3D is 24”x24”x24” to fit on our pedestals. Larger 3D pieces can be accommodated if they are self-supporting and can stand freely in the gallery space.
Artists must sign a liability release agreement upon admission into the show. (Liability release can be read in the “Call Agreement” section).
JUROR SELECTION
You will be notified of the juror’s selection via e-mail on October 25, 2017. If accepted, please deliver your work to Grace Centre Gallery no later than Monday October 30th, 2017. Set drop off times will be Sunday afternoon October 29th from 4-7 pm and Monday morning October 30th from 9-12 noon. If one of these times does not work for you, please contact Molly Angel at to make an appointment. The final adjudication will take place the week of October 30th. Winners will be announced at the Opening Reception on Saturday November the 4th at 6:30 pm. Cash prizes will be awarded for Best of Show, 1st Place, 2nd Place, Best Emerging Artist, and Honorable Mention(s)
