Watershed Youth: Grades 6-12
As our young people develop through their teenage years, we believe the freeing Gospel of Jesus, taught in the context of their own culture and extended through messy and caring relationships, has the power to shape each person as he or she begins to step into independence, decision making, and faith ownership. Instead of binding our young people through outward moral behavioral management, we believe the Gospel, as it roots in the heart, creates an environment for inward transformation.
Our Summer "SHEDule" (see what we did there?) switches up from our usual routine for optimized hangouts and fun. Grab a calendar and watch for special announcements for all the sign-ups!
Sundays: SHED 9am
All middle school and high school students are invited to join us. We meet upstairs in the youth room, 9:00am on Sundays for SHED; hang out, sing songs, short talk about Jesus.
Wednesdays: DIG 6:30pm
We meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:15pm-7:30pm, for DIG, where everybody meets upstairs then splits into small groups by grade and gender to dig through Scripture. Real. Practical. Personal.
