Worship & Arts

Our Gospel & Arts Perspective

All of creation reveals God’s love for humanity and beauty. He is the source of all that is good, beautiful and true. His Spirit and purpose permeate creation, which flows out of God’s perfect community, and continues to redeem our broken world, making all things one and new. Made in the image of God, all human beings possess the ability to create and /or experience art, although our fallen nature allows us to do so imperfectly.  At the core, we're all connected through the same basic desires, needs, and hopes. Through creativity, we search to find meaning, constantly wrestling with dualities (earthly passions and heavenly longings), seeking fulfillment and purpose. In the gospel, God initiates and we respond to His goodness and beauty with new eyes; finding true identity and peace in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

!! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED !! - Greeter & Cafe Volunteers - Molly Angel -

  • Do you enjoy welcoming folks and have the gift of hospitality? If so, serving as a greeter or in the cafe might be a good fit for you. We are in need of volunteers to welcome folks as they come in for worship, make and service coffee and clean up the cafe after the service is over. This ministry has a big impact on visitors and those considering Grace as their church home.
  • Greeters and cafe clean up crew (40 mins after the service) are specifically needed at this time. If you are interested in helping in this way, contact Molly Angel, Volunteer Coordinator.

Musicians - Andrew Kerhoulas -

  • If you are a musician and would like to use your gifts to lead the body in worship, contact Andrew Kerhoulas, Discipleship & Worship Pastor.

Newcomers Meet & Greet: Second Sunday of the month

If you are new to Grace or even if you have been coming for a few weeks, we would love to meet you, say hello and answer any questions you may have! Our next Meet & Greet will be on October 8, 2023.

Newcomer Meet & Greets are typically held every other month, on the second Sunday of the month. After the service on those Sundays a few staff will be in the cafe near the Information Desk to greet you and chat for a bit. It’s very informal, no presentation or agenda, just a time to say hello & help in any way we can. (There will be some bottled water and a few snacks to help tide you over until you can get lunch afterwards.)

The Fruit of the Spirit is Kindness

Sep 24

We all need more kindness in this world.” What has apparently drained it from us? Why, with something we so desperately need, and welcome when it comes, have we lost the capacity for it? But let’s back up just a bit: what is kindness really? It...
